Ciarán Hodgins is an up and coming Blues and Rock n’ Roll artist from the Northwest of Ireland. His home town is well documented as a musical Mecca becoming the birthplace of numerous artists such as one of Ireland’s and the world’s guitarist Rory Gallagher.
Shaped and inspired by his musical surroundings, Ciarán was raised on a range of genres spanning from Rock n Roll, Blues, Folk, Country, Reggae and Latin. His primary love however has always been Rhythm and Blues and equally Rock n’ Roll. From Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, BB, Albert and Freddie King to Otis Rush, Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher etc. The list is endless. Hints of the above and more are noted in his playing alongside his own old fashioned and unique style of playing. He has played at Blues festivals and also at the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival which attract over 20,000 music lovers spanning 20 countries.
