"Focus on the positive things in life"
those are keywords that Nilson always try to live by. Grew up in a small town in southern Sweden, began as 15 year old to play guitar and write songs right away. Playing both keyboards and guitars in several band over the years, but it was in the studio that NILSON really felt at home. Got a job in a recordingstudio at the age of 18 where he learned all about analog recording with analog consoles and tapemachines. When Atari and digital sequencers hit the world '85 he was one of the first in his town to embrace it. The next year he was a beta-tester for Steinberg Sweden with Pro24 and later Cubase. In the early 90's he started his own studio and over the next few years he worked as a fulltime songwriter and producer. Many of the songs were recorded by major Swedish artists and bands and hit the charts in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
In 1994 he participated as a songwriter in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Vill du resa till månen med mig". The song ended up in an honorable 6th place. Since then, many songs have been written and many records have been produced and recorded. In 2011 it was time to step out into the spotlight and present his own material, which NILSON releases by Melody Records. The first single "Destiny's Calling" showed a completely different side, of Nilson, as he now instead of the previously featured pop music presented a song with traces of blues, soul, americana. The next single "Time To Move On" was released shortly after. 2012 the debutalbum "For Better Or For Worse" was released and includes 13 songs. Autumn 2016, two singles "Blessed [Single]" and "A Lullaby"was released and now in the beginning of 2017 the single "1000 Days & 1000 Nights". All three singles are from the upcoming album "Blessed" to be released in spring 2017.
