Dynamic Whanganui blues band BB & THE BULLETS are proud to announce the international release of their 12-track debut album HIGH TIDE through iconic French Blues label Dixiefrog Records, in the United States, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The tight, three piece blues rock outfit have garnered a reputation for their powerful and moving live performances, drawing comparisons to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter, Peter Green and Jeff Beck, while firmly putting their own stamp on the timeless medium that is the blues. Recorded in Whanganui at Producer and band leader Brian Baker’s Nixon Street recording studio after the band had established itself by gigging around the local circuit. Band members Brad McMillan (drums), Stu Duncan (bass), and Brian Baker (guitar / vocals) couldn’t be happier, saying: “Working with Dixiefrog and having our record released in Europe, UK, the States and New Zealand is a dream come true for our little Whanganui band.
