Susanne Hager is a singer and songwriter from Vienna, Austria. At the age of 7, she began her musical journey with classical guitar, later teaching herself pop styles at 18 while studying business. During her university years, she discovered her passion for jazz, taking vocal lessons and participating in Viennas vibrant live music scene and jam sessions. After completing her studies, she pursued vocal training at the pop academy and performed with numerous bands. Suprised by how male dominated the jazz and music scene is, she founded & hosted the “Ladies First Sessions” for 3 years to promote female musicians. A challenging time in her life led her to songwriting, resulting in her debut album- a blend of jazz, blues, soul & pop- featuring 9 of Viennas finest jazz musicians. With 6 songs already out, the full album will be released in November.
