Solo artist and bandleader, Chris Bell is a highly compelling singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer and teacher with roots planted in the fertile soil of American roots music! Without compromising authenticity and soulful integrity handed down from his North Carolina Mom and New York City Dad, he draws equal measures from traditional and contemporary Blues, Country and Rock. Born in the District of Columbia, raised in New England and now based in Central Pennsylvania, Chris has spent most of his professional career in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. His band has played hundreds of shows from coast to coast including Nashville and has opened and shared the stage with countless national acts from legend Leon Russell, Country star Dustin Lynch and rocker Pat Travers to Blues greats Robert Lockwood, Jr. ,Coco Montoya, Guitar Shorty, Chris Duarte and Ronnie Baker Brooks! Bell has also produced 7 CDs and 2 DVDs! In addition Chris Bell now also plays the role of Stevie Ray Vaughan in Tightrope – Ultimate Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute Band showing his early influences of meeting and seeing the Texas guitar legend SRV many times live in concert through the 80’s!
